When Merry started designing her perennial gardens she only planted a few roses, now she has too many to count and is totally in love with the roses’ blooming process. One minute there is a tight bud, then it starts to open into an organized leafed flower, only to unfold into something totally different a few days later. Once the blooms have past, they are cut and then dried carefully so they don’t mold. Once completely dried, the petals are grinded and combined with a transparent polymer/resin. It is then rolled into thin sheets, where each pen is made one at a time. Each individual pen is different; you can actually see the crushed rose petals. The unique texture and color comes directly from the blossoms. The pen uses a standard cross refill. Easy how to instructions and a story card are included with each purchase.
