Lavender is simply one of those plants Merry adores and grows numerous varieties of in her perennial garden. The scent is delightful; the texture of the leaves is soft and the colors- perfect. From mid June through the rest of the summer Merry harvests the lavender and dries it. Once dried, the plant matter is grinded with a transparent polymer/resin. It is then rolled into thin sheets where she makes each pen one at a time. Each individual pen is different; you can actually see the lavender flowers and stems. The unique texture and color comes directly from the lavender. The pen uses a standard cross refill, easy how to instructions and a story card are included with every purchase.
